Oxford Coding and Robotics Apprentice Level 1 Workbook, developed in partnership with Resolute Education, introduces learners to block-based coding and physical computing using the Micro:Bit and the Music and Lights Components Kit.
What learners will do:
- Create, test, and debug code in a simulated environment before uploading to hardware
- Use Scratch to explore motion, light sensing, temperature sensing, and conditional statements — guided by CLANK the robot
- Work with the Micro:Bit to practise button inputs, piano touchpad, shake input, LED outputs, LED arrays, and buzzers
